Meet our DT Coordinator...Meridy!
Hello! My name is Meridy Twilling and I'm 35 years old. I am the Design Team Coordinator here at Scrap the Moments. I am very excited to take on this challenge...as well as the scrapping challenges set forth on the Scrap the Moments blog!
I live in southern Arizona with my husband, Shawn, and two babies, Maddy and Hunter. My husband is a firefighter, which allows me to be a stay at home mom, which I LOVE! I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design in 2004; I enjoy Commercial Design (as opposed to Residential). I like to bake, cook, make beaded jewelry, and sew Halloween costumes. I love to organize just about anything (especially my friends' scrapbook supplies)! I enjoy decorating our house for Christmas, and creating homemade gifts of all sorts. Every year I design "place markers" for the Thanksgiving table...each year I make them from different mediums, so they are always unique. I also enjoy planning themed parties for kids as well as adults.
I have been scrapbooking since 2000...and I LOVE everything about it...from taking the pictures, to journaling the memories, to creating embellishments, to shopping for supplies, to designing the layouts, to making new friends! I like to scrap the everyday moments, vacations, and big events (like Christmas and Birthday parties). Luckily, I have a supportive husband and family, and I have been able to host a monthly crop night at my house for the past 3 1/2 years! I LOVE to teach new scrapbook techniques, answer questions, brainstorm ideas, and help with layouts...so please, feel free to e-mail me at meridy77@yahoo.com and check out/follow my "Something Scrappy" blog at meridy77.blogspot.com . I can't wait to get to know all of you and start working on the Scrap the Moments Challenges!!!

Meet Sarah!
Hi, my name is Sarah and I live in sunny Queensland, Australia. I have been happily married since 2000 to my wonderful hubby Jason, and we have 2 beautiful daughters and a feisty cat (Sweet-Pea) who are the reason I scrap. I started scrapping before I even knew there was such a word when I got married, then it really took off here in Australia and I moved to the city where scrappy goodies were more available – before then everything was done by mail order! I started out with a few basics and a container and now my hubby has built me my very own scrap studio to spread out in and display all my creations. So you could say I absolutely love to scrap, alter and create anything! I have always been inspired by the many other wonderfully talented people that I have met online, and feel very blessed to be a part of the Scrap The Moments DT so that I may inspire you!
When I’m not busy under a pile of pretty paper and ribbons I work as a Group Leader in Childcare, garden, read or run about the backyard with my girls. We also love to bake and have tea parties, have dress up days and building and creating days! Usually you can find all of the things I’m up to on my blog: papertree.blogspot.com
She used Paperclips to make a heart, a bread clip to hold a bow, a toothpick to hold a chipboard heart!
So creative! Enjoy! Can't wait to see what else you do Sarah!

Meet Carrie!
Hi! My name is Carrie Walz. I am a SAHM with 2 beautiful children. My son Andrew is 15 and my daughter Alyson is 9. I have been married 10 years to my wonderful husband Rob. I have been scrapbooking for about 11 years now. I started as a way of keeping myself busy when I was going through my divorce. What started out as a form of therapy for myself turned into a complete hobby and passion! I am a paper scrapper and I think I always will be, I just love the hands on approach to it all. I am totally a Thickers hoarder. I love them and I simply cannot get enough of them!
When I am not scrapbooking I love to watch reality tv shows. Some would even say I am a reality show junkie. I am particularly addicted to the cooking ones like Hell's Kitchen and Top Chef. I also love to cook and bake and spend time with my family in my spare time. I am so excited to get to work on this team and cannot wait to share my work with everyone!
Check out this awesome layout Carrie did for the challenge! Such a great use of the clothing tag!

Meet Angela!
I live outside Detroit, MI with my sweet and hilarious husband, Andrew, and our two furry and hilarious cats, Marty and Dexter (who are both girls). I teach writing and literature to college students by day and craft my head off by night. I started papercrafting when I fell in love with sticker collecting as a true child of the 80s. Stamping and card making followed when I wanted to make my own wedding invitations, and then I picked up scrapping about a year ago as a new creative outlet. I also like to read (book nerd alert!), cook and bake (Martha nerd alert!), and spend time with our friends and family (everything's a photo opportunity!). I'm looking forward to all the Scrap the Moments challenges ahead!
Look at what Angela did for the challenge! So awesome..love this layout! Can't wait to see more Angela!

All about Mary Pat!
Hi everyone,
My name is Mary Pat and I am a wife to a fantastic husband (does anyone say they are married to someone terrible?). One of the many reasons I love him is that he totally supports my "need" to scrap. He is more than happy to help out around the house if I need to get some work done! You got to love that! I have two great boys (Jack 5 and Michael 2). They are the light of my life. I never thought raising two boys would be so much fun! I am a high school Spanish teacher. This is my 22nd year. Where does the time go? It seems like this is my 10th year instead.
I have been a crafter ever since i was a little girl. I loved all kinds of crafts and projects. It wasn't until college (in the late 80's) that I started to scrap, but of course there weren't any real scrapping products back then. But I would always buy stickers and decorate my photo albums and write in journaling. I loved it. All my friends always wanted me to do their albums. I was so excited when Creating Keepsakes came about and the hobby "officially" took off. I am so totally addicted. I love pattern paper, and my tools. I must confess I am a pattern paper junkie. My favorite lines right now are Basic Grey and Imaginisce, but there are so many great ones too. I carry around my sketch pad in my purse so that if I get a great idea I can write it down right away. I have even had ideas come in my dreams. I know it sounds really really weird but like I said I am totally addicted.
I am currently on my local scrapbook store's Design Team, and I just love it. We have a lot of fun. My son, Jack loves going in the store and find his pictures! He thinks he is famous. How cute is that? I am really excited to be on this Scrap the Moments Design Team. I am a huge fan of challenge sites. They really motivate me. My goal is to motivate and inspire you. Please feel free to visit my blog siehledwithakiss and I would be honored if you signed up to follow me. On my blog I usually go into more detail on how I created the layout etc.
I want to thank Devon for giving my this great opportunity. I can't wait to get started! Thanks for reading!
Be back later!
Meet Laurie!
Hi, my name is Laurie and I'm 26 years old (turning 27 on December 26!). I've been married to my husband for about a year and a half now and we live in NJ (though I am originally from the Midwest). By day, I'm an assistant editor at a magazine. But by night, I am a scrapbooker! I've been scrapping for 10 or 11 years now and it's been in the past 4 years or so that I've really gone crazy-obsessed with scrapping. I love to take pictures and I love to get artistic with how I display those pictures. If I could take pictures and scrap all day long, I totally would! I started my blog, Cook Scrap Craft, a year ago as a way to showcase scrappy, crafty, and yummy items that I make and get inspiration from others. My husband has Celiac disease so you'll find a lot of gluten-free recipes on my blog. I also started a scrapping business, The Side Scrapper, where I scrap for other people. (Details are on my blog.) I'm so excited to be part of this design team and get to work with this group of talented ladies! I love the community of scrappers I've met all thanks to the internet!
Check out what Laurie did for the challenge in the post below! Have a great night!

Meet Catherine!
Hello, my name is Catherine Oakley and I live in Colorado. I have been married to my wonderful husband for 8 years and together we are blessed with 3 boys (5, 7, and 16). I am a stay at home mom and work part time in children’s ministry at my church.
I have been paper crafting for 6 years and love how I am able to preserve my memories as art. I have been fortunate enough to be a guest designer for the Making Memories blog and Artful Delight I have also been published several times in trade magazines. I enjoy making single and double page layouts, mini-albums, cards and altered projects. As for my style, I tend to think it is fairly simple but then again, it seems to continually evolve. My latest obsession is creating things from patterned paper so that I can use in new ways on my layouts and other projects. Really I think my style is just “me”…whatever suits my fancy at the time I sit down to create is what I produce.
Look what Catherine did for our challenge! She made these awesome flowers from PAPER TOWELS! What a creative idea! Just love it! We'll have to get her to teach us how to make them! Great job Catherine!
